He does have a routine that is equal to twenty four hours that divides on giving twelve hours of sun light for ALL navigating through the sky until he reaches the gate of the West. Then after he passes through the gate, it closes behind him, giving then the grand entrance to the Night sky of Nut. Nut is an actual goddess that is the sky herself. Then our Sun God goes to sleep for twelve hours= twenty four hours= a day. Every day our Sun God is reborn again. The Underworld, in case some are not aware of, is a sphere of the earth where all souls must passed through before navigating further destination.

Seth has a brother that name is Osiris, that under any circumstances his duty is the same as Seth.
The outer surface of earth have mighty females Goddess as are Isis with her sister Nefte, that responsibilities are that of watching over the crop that life needs to sustain itself. They are managing the process of death that is to follow the activities of life, and together with the underworld gods.

AmonRa was so moved after eons of waiting for all creations be finally completed,+ and having a place like earth to sustain life with a sun that himself manage over the sky,+ just as important even having a pantheon for the gods! All these was just beyond words. He got so emotional that tears came running from his eyes. And these tears took forms as the first men and women of Egypt. All the gods were giving bodies as that of the mortal men and women, however, some were giving body as humans but the heads as that of an animal. For example Thou was giving the head of an Ibis; Hathor could take the head of a cow or a lion; Maat could take the form of a woman or a feather, Anubis was giving the head of a jackal, Seth that of a compose manifestation off a dog, a fox, and a serpent. This was perfect for Seth since he was the manifestation of chaos that had no standard form. AmonRa liked the head of a hawk, however he could take any form when ever he liked but no matter what form AmonRa always took, a bacon of light was always shining on the top of his skull.
And we forgot to mention that our Sun God also gives light to others spheres that are holding planets that are from our own neighborhood, or from same solar system. We are responsible for our own actions. Anyways, all that we borrowed must be return back to their respective god during the journey returning to Prime Creator. When we are navigating within up Prime Creator’s territory, we must be simply clean, meaning naked as a shining light just as the essence that we were from the start. This scenario is what some religions call the Jacob’s ladder. Others now days call it ascension. Nothing is a coincidence, is it not?
We are going to touch briefly that Osiris had a very painful death by his own brother Seth. He actually dissected him alive, hiding then his organs where no one could ever find them, due to jealousy about Nefte with Osiris. Further, no one in town was able to say anything because they were all scare to died just like Osiris did. Remember that Seth is entirely evil.
